Soft-tissue cavernous Hemangioma

A 14-year-old girl with no medical history presented to the surgical outdoor with a 4 years history of swelling in the left side of her neck but there were no complains of associated pain or any symptoms of dysphasia. The swelling was a smooth soft palpable ma no discolouration of the overlying skin and there was no increase in temperature over this swelling at clinical examination. Given the long-standing nature of the swelling, the clinical suspicion for malignancy was low.
