Early results of modified Loefflers procedure

Objective: To evaluate the early results of Modified Loefflers Medial Capsulotomy in Uni-compartmental Osteo-arthritis of knee joint. Study Design: Interventional Comparative study. Patients and Methods: Thirty patients with primary uni-compartmental (medial) Osteoarthritis of the knee joint were recruited from outpatient`s department of Services Hospital, Lahore. The mean age of the patients was 56 years (range from 45 to 75 years). The minimum follow-up was one year. Results and Conclusion: The mean Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) knee score was 60 before Surgery and 80.5 at one year after surgery.
