Minor Red Cell Antigens (Rh System) in Pakistani volunteer Blood Donors

The study was intended to determine the frequency of various Rh genotypes in our population. Rh D negative blood group was 9% in this study as compared to 15% in the British population. R2r is 1% in our individuals , whereas it is quite common (13%) in the British population . R1r has the highest prevalence constituting about 52.0%.
