Disease modification in Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis is the most common acquired disorder of myelin in humans. We now know that MS is not only a demyelinating and inflammatory disease, but also, a neuro-degenerative disease. Though it seems autoimmune in nature, environmental factors may play a role in genetically susceptible individuals. This is a review article.
