Nasopharyangeal Angiofibroma - an experience of 20 cases
Pak Postgrad Med J Dec 2001;12(4):143-5.
Post Graduate Medical Institute, Lahore

Twenty cases of nasopharyangeal angiofibroma were treated by surgical excision during the period from 1992 - 2000. Nineteen cases were new and one patient had recurrent disease. An appropriate surgical approach based on CT Scan findings of extent of tumour is useful in complete excision of the tumor. No patient had any recurrence. There was no mortality although two patients had palatal perforation and two had minor wound infection. One had temporary trismus and one had mild vestibular stenosis.
