Pak J Surg Oct - Dec 2003;19(2):101-5.
Peoples Medical College & Civil Hospital, Nawabshah

Two types of proximal tibial osteotomy viz. Coventry and Maquet were carried out on 40 knees, 20 each method, with unicompartmental osteoarthritis over an eight year period. All the patients were suffering from varus deformities and were followed up for eight years after the procedure. The results revealed that the Coventry procedure has slight edge over the Maquet procedure in terms of better outcome as well as fewer complications.
