Giant urethral diverticulum with calculi

Calculi occurring in the urethra are uncommon and unusual nowadays. Here we report the case of a young male aged 25 years who presented with a large (7x5cms) perineal swelling and dysuria. Investigations revealed it to be a huge urethral stone. Urethrolithotomy was performed with a successful outcome. The case is presented in view of the huge size (7x5cms) of the stone, together with brief review of literature.
