Oral focus of infection: correlation with intestinal disorder (report of two cases)

The present study describes the findings of complete recovery of intestinal disorder (Chronic dysentery) after extraction of impacted molar teeth in two patients, complaining of facial pain and swelling. These observations, herefore, necessitate the intra-oral check up for any focus of infection in the mouth that may implicate systemic disturbances.
