Transverse Foramina of the Cervical Vertebrae: Some Morphological Observations

Background: The study was aimed to collect and signify some morphometric data on the cervical vertebrae and their transverse foramina. Methods: One hundred & three sets of cervical vertebrae of adult male (78) & female (25) were observed. Morphometric analysis of the transverse foramina, inter-transverse foramina distance & body height were carried out. Significance of the data for cervical vertebrae categorization / identification has been discussed.
