Computed Tomography using Multislice technology has revolutionized and renewed the interest in this form of imaging as it increased scanning speed and reduced the scanning time. Multislice technique as led to isotropic imaging and high z-axis resolution and high quality, artifact free two and three dimensional reconstructions. In addition to considerable improvements in traditional fields of C. T, new applications such as cardiac imaging have become possible. While technical development continues to soar, novel clinical applications of Multislice C.T (MS.C.T) are continuously being discovered and explored. This is a review article.
