Neurofibromatosis (NF) is one of the most common neurocutaneous conditions and consists of 8 distinct forms. NF type 1 (NF1), also referred to as von Recklinghausen`s disease is the most common form. Apart from major diagnostic features, NF1 can have a wide range of presentation. Wide spread lentigens have rarely been reported in association with NF1. Here we present a case of NF in association with generalized lentiginosis and a brief review of the disease is also made.
