Molecular diagnostics facilitates the detection and characterization of disease, drug response, identification of genetic modifiers, disease susceptibility and provides key epidemiology and surveillance data. Owing to the critical importance of advancements in Molecular diagnostics and its benefits to public health worldwide, the Institute of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences is going to organize a National workshop entitled, “Molecular Diagnostics” on 11-12 of January, 2011. Delegates and participants of different educational & research organizations from all over the country and abroad will participate in this workshop. Molecular diagnostic testing uses sensitive and specific clinical laboratory techniques to detect and identify biomarkers at the most basic level, that of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). The workshop comprises different related valuable lectures/ seminars and practical sessions upgrade the basic knowledge to the subject of the participants.
