OPERATIONAL RESEARCH IN TB IS A VERY INTERESTED ISSUE. IT IS PROVED THAT TB IS MORE COMMON IN THE FEMALES IN PAKISTAN IN SOME STUDIES. WHY?. A KAP STUDY IN LAHORE AND RWP ON GPs SHOWED THAT THE LEVEL OF AWARENESS IS VERY LOW IN GPs IN PAKISTAN.VERY LESS OF THEM KNOW ABOUT THE DOTS STRATEGY OF TB COMNTROL. 98% GPs NOT KNOW ABOUT THE NATIONAL TB CONREOL PROGRAMME GUIDELINES OF TB CONTRL. SO MUSH WORK IS STILL NEEDED.

This is correct regarding Pakistan. Health Professionals now have a lot of awareness regarding these problems.
