Neurophysiology

I am interested in the current status of neurophysiology in Pakistan. I would like to come to Pakistan and introduce Intraoperative Neurohysiological Monitoring (IONM) in Pakistan.

I presented a paper at Khyber Medical College in Dec 2004 and received a good response from the faculty.

IONM can be utilized in Neuro, Orthopedic, ENT and Cardiovascular surgeries for better patient protection.

There are only 85 Diplomates of IONM in the world. Treatment of Parkinson, Essential Tremors & Dystonia will be possible in Pakistan as it is in USA and some countries in Europe.
