Taking samples for GH is not a useful idea. You need to go for Insulin Stress test or measure IGF1 levels. Prolactin levels can be taken at any time. I think same is the case for cytokines.

Greetings,
I'm from Italy and I've just started my post-graduate training. I'm trying to plan a clinical trial in the psychoneuroimmunology field.
We have 20 patients and 20 healthy subjects and we want to analyze their GH, Prolactin and some serum cytokines. Since they are outpatients and not hospitalized we can't take more than one blood sample in a day.
What is , in your hopinion, a proper way to evaluate the hormones since they have a circadian rhythm of secretion?
