You are right hamadahsan in your statement. Dentistry is a major medical field. One of the thing that i saw that most of the non specialist dentists, do not observe full aseptic techniques during manipulation. Therefore, they are the potential source of spread of Hepatitis B and C in our country.

I think NGOs along with Govt. support should launch a nationwide compaign for the awareness and preventive measures of such diseases.

i think that,what we need,is a broad based program related to preventive measures in dentistry, throughout pakistan. because of the fact that much of the pakistani population is still ignorant of its oral health.
Besides that, a National based program about the hazards of pan,chalia and smoking is verry necessary at the moment, as these things are widely used and are major threat to the oral health of pakistani population.
