Well as far as I know the recommended books for MRCP 1 prep r as follows :-

1) Essential revision notes for MRCP I 2nd ed by Philip A Kalra (must have book)

2) Basic Sciences for MRCP I by Philipa J Easterbrook (must have book)

3) Lots of practice of BOFs from onexamination.com

4)Pastest series MCQ books r also good for revision.

From many MRCP I veterans I've come to know this exam doesn't need a big textbook like Kumar and Clark. U only need those books for reference purposes.
