yes, after MCPS you are a specialist (e.g at THQ hospitals) but you cannot become CONSULTANT after MCPS and you cannot join teaching faculty on basis of MCPS. if you are jumping in blackhole of specialization, then opt for FCPS

hello,
plz help me out in makin decision whether to do fcps or mcps coz i think fcps is a bit tough n of long duration .. nd after doin mcps still you'r goin to be a specialist after all.
