Hi..
Well as far as I know there arent shirt elective..nor it goes around every year..
its upon you how many weeks elective you wana take but before that..
what you think elective is
usually it is a period of 4-6 weeks which you want to spend outside your hospital setting to another hospital setting to see what going on...
you can go to each and every hospital in islamabad and ask them..
I dont know much about isb.. I can tell abt KARACHI.
in KARACHI.. renowed hospitals has elective department..you go and apply directly.. if not that then go to the perticular department you are intersted in and take to the medical scetaray..she/he willrefer you to go..?
