hi medical!!!
actuallt pharmacology was my fav subject.and our proffessor of pharmacology used to give us notes and hand outs of the drugs so thats why we found it easier way of learning pharmacology and the book which is highly useful for pharmacology according to me is lippincot...language is quite easy and it will help you in the future exams as well....

Recommended Books for FCPS-I Exam!

Following are the Recommended Books for
FCPS-I Examination.

1.Anatomy............Snell's/RJ Last
2.Physiology.........Ganong/Gyton
3.Pathology..........Concise Robbins/Walter
4.Pharmacology.......Lippincott's
5.Embryology.........Langman's
6.Neuroanatomy.......Snell's
7.Microbiology.......Jawetz Review( Only summary of the micro-organisms, about 20 pages)
8.Biochemistry.......Lippincott's( But if you go thru Ganong for Physiology then you don't need to read it).

Board Review Series(BRS) are not the recommended books as they are short review books, but if you prefer to go thru them because of shoratge of time, you need to cover your deficiency by practicing a lot of MCQs and reading the Explanatory comments of MCQs thoroughly.
