MCQs Books for FCPS-I!

Dear Folks,

I m providing u all information regarding the MCQs books for FCPS-I.

I m afraid there are not many MCQs books available in Pkaistan in order to prepare for FCPS-1.

Following are the available books:

1. Pool Questions for FCPS-I by Azeem Sheikh
........is an excellent book,rather i would say the best available book. It contains MCQs from the previous exams and above all detailed explanatory comments, which are really helpful in attempting MCQs. MCQs are repeated in every exam, but even if they dont the explanations are extremely helpful.

2. Q Bank for USMLE-I
........although its mainly for USMLE but it gives u a good practice of MCQs.

3. Murad's MCQs
........is a good book but there are few concerns. there are no explanations given so one is not quite sure about the answers and secondly there are quite a few mistakes, which are really, really annoying.

Also, I found HANDBOOK OF DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS FOR POSTGRADUATE EXAMINATIONS by Azeem Sheikh, very helpful as it gives u the differentials and also the key points which are pretty helpful in attempting MCQs in Exams.
