American Academy of Neurology and American Epilepsy Society have some travel scholarships. You can submit an abstract of a research project relevant to these areas. If you get the award it adds 5 stars to your CV as well as a free trip and registrations to these meetings. You can check out the details on their websites which you can obtain through google search. Yeah saw that too. Will attend it but i feel so sorry that I just got a bit late.. and now I don't really have enough time to 'participate' as well!

You can view updated list of Conferences in Pakistan at http://www.pakmedinet.com/events.php .. There is a Neurology conference coming in few days (in Islamabad).

a. National Neurosurgery Conference
b. Neurosurgery Speciality Conference: a part of 3rd Health Asia Conference 2006

I would preferrably appreciate info regardin related events in pindi/islamabad area.

Also, if someone here has some idea of what is the national scene regarding annual surgery/neurosurgery symposia/conferences and
