Gene Therapy has termendious application in medical field, and before Gene Therapy it was thought that Genetic diseases cant be cured but with the application of gene therapy, now there is hope to cure many genetic diseases as SCID was cured in 1990 and many trials are on the way to cure many other genetic diseases.
in addition it has application to cure many type of cancer and infectious diseases.
Now efforts are also made to ehance the appearence and performance by gene therapy like increasing muscle mass, endurance, memory, and cognition and bettering appearance by controlling weight, height and hair growth.
