AMC EXAMINATION

hi ppl...i found this amc forum very useful...but i got few questions, i hav almost finished my 5yr mbbs, and i dont want to do hosue job, instead i want to go for amc directly. i need help. can u define its books and mcq books in an eazy manner.
plz help me.
