Re: Re: Situation of Doctors in Australia

Dear Dr. Bushra,
there are very few working doctors on this forum. I met at least 10 pakistani doctors on my visit. They were very happy.
AMC-1 is not that difficult - of course one has to study

Re: Situation of Doctors in Australia

Dear All,

I am refering to this website www.aippg.net which contains all negative information about life of doctors in Australia.

1. They mention that now Australia has 6 medical schools in each state and previously they had only one. Thus number of doctors produced by Australia would increase by six time. And Australia would be exporter of doctors rather an importer.

2. Indian doctors in Australia also mention that life of a doctor is pathetic here. He mentions a Paki doctor who was put on night shifts and under lot of stress and he killed couple of old people. So distressing to read.

3. Many of them say that AMC exam is extremely tough (obviously not impossible).

And many more bla bla bla.

The info on this website pertinent to AMC is very discouraging and painful. Australia seems like hell as per this website.

Is there any Paki doctor who is working in Australia and can provide explanation germane to the above-mentioned claims made by Indian Doctors.

Waiting for response.....

Best Regards,

Dr. Bushra

Re: Situation of Doctors in Australia

Wa-Alaikum Salam,

That is not true at all.I visited aust last month, they really need doctors. If you have few years of GP experience, u can find 38 hrs/week job.

Don't be discouraged,
Good Luck

Situation of Doctors in Australia

Dear All,

Assalam-0-Alaikum

My husband is planning to do PhD in Australia. I want to work there as a doctor. However, the details on the Indian Website are extremely depressing. Like no jobs, bad treatment of OTDs, 80 hrs work / week etc. Is that all true?

Kindly respond to my query.

Best Regards,

Dr. Bushra Tayyab
