Killip classification is based on simple physical exam and came in pratice in 1967 so its old it still does hold prognostic significance.

TIMI score also predicts mortality but the iformation is based on the study in which fibrinolytic agents were used so it hold true for patients who undergo fibrinolysis or PTCA but doesn not hold its value in patients not undergoing reperfusion therapy.

in addition there are differences in risk stratification of patients with unstable angina and non ST elevation MI and in acute ST elevation MI.

So its a broad topic and takes in to account several variables
