If a child is with green stools then always look after tonslitis, lyringhits. It is a tip that in majority of cases greenish stools specially with too offensive bad smell( not present when child was passing norma stools)is an indication of upper respiratory tract infectin.

absolutely normal as far as i know. many mothers ask about it. more common in formula fed infants but i have seen them in babies on cows' milk as well!
can anyone enlighten me as to the reason /cause

Some formula feed have too much iron which can change stool colour to greenish black - check that first by comparing different formula milks

hi,
my cousin is 8 months old & he has been passing greenish stools since his birth,he is on formula feed,absolutely well otherwise.Is this any thing of concern?
