International Guest Scholarships Available

“American College of Surgeons, Chicago, Illinois, USA is offering International Guest Scholarships to competent young surgeons from countries other than United States or Canada. Those who have demonstrated strong interests and accomplishment in teaching and research will be given preference.

The Scholarships being offered are for the year 2009; while the last date for the receipt of applications and all the supporting documents is July 1, 2008.

Minimum age of the applicants should be 35 years while the maximum be 44 years.

Each scholarship offers a stipend of US$ 8,000/-, participation in Clinical Congress and expectation of visits to several North American clinical and research sites of the Scholar’s choice. A mentor will be assigned to assist the Scholar in planning the tour.
