What do you guys learn when you do Masters in Biostatistics? I mean, what methods are taught?

Is there anyone who knows the importance of Biostatistics?As our Director said on the 1st day that everybody knows the importance of a Doctor but a Doctor Knows the importance of a Biostatisticin,but i think there is no future of Biostatistics in Pakistan because even a doctor could not understand it.what do u think??
