For calculation of sample size we need some information, the mean value of outcome variable in some previous study, margin of error, power of test. moreover we can not say which test is appropriate without having data, questionnaire, objectives. for any help you may contact 0300-4668681

Sample size and statistical test for RCT

Can some one help me to calculate sample size to RCT, randomized controlled trial with (a) continuous variable (b) Binary variable yes/no form of variable.
Further, what should be the appropriate test to analyze the data.
