hi. Many good local pharmaceutical manufacturers are manufacturing alendronate sodium. One product is FIRMOFOS. I personally advice that we should keep a Pharma Guide handy and it should be available at almost all chemist stores so that consumers can cross check prices. Such is the practise in the US and Europe where the pharmacist are advicing on the prices of branded and generic drugs.

Well this is an expensive drug, with price more than 100 rupees. There are some local brands available which are cheaper.
