Well i do not agree with your statement regarding availability of antimony compounds.sodium stibogluconate and meglumine antimonate both are available freely in rawalpindi marketed by star pharma.

Well I think most of our Pharmaceutical Industry is interested in Business promotion not for the benefit of the patients. They produce any drug depending on its demand, not on its usage.

Can anyone tell me why Antimony compound used for the treatment of Leishmaniasis is not freely available in Pakistan, why smuggled one is available and no company is manufacturing/marketing it. Is there a need to pressurize government about this and other similar drugs?
