decision to make: Dentistry in Islamabad ( shifa hospital )?
AOA
I am a student in a University of dentistry in Austria ( Vienna ) in 4th year ( out of 6 years ) and I have been looking for informations about a dentist life in Pakistan. But so far I couldnt find any useful information.
My plan is after completing my study to specialize in orthodontics and live in Islamabad at one stage of my life ( like at the age of 30 , now I am 23 ).
I would appreciate if some one could tell me about the avarage income of a specialist in that field ( orthodontics ) + basic treatments. Because as we all know that at the end of the day income will matter.
And does anyone know about a job at shifa hospital (http://www.shifa.com.pk)?
I wrote them an e-mail but theyy didnt reply.
thanks
kind regards

Re: decission to make: Dentistry in Islamabad ( shifa hospital )?
Dear Nabeel
Good to hear about your plans... in my personal opinion any good specialist (in any field of specialization , both in govt and Pvt sector) makes good amount of money and has a comfortable life...Being a born and certified Islamabadite i can assure you that once you are established here in your respective area of specialization, orthodontics you will earn a lot( both in terms of monetary benefits and respect)
and Shifa is for sure a good option but then there are many others as well
Best of luck
