possible post operative complications if a third molar flap is left unsutured. i dont know if there is any of such studies in the literature?

The risks and complications involved in the removal of third molars are: bleeding, swelling, infection and pain.There will be more chances of these post operative complications if you will not suture the flap.

well doc.. i m doing fcps in oral surgery.... as u have asked the question regarding 3 molar surgery... 1st i astonished on ur question... caz i think 3rd molar surgery is not that type of thing which can lead u in such a great problem
anyways... regarding ur flap q. i tel u that 1st u have to determine the type of flap... what type of flap u r raising for surgery .. or what type of incision u r giving...... ur flap design tells about possible complications... if u r not surgeon then u must mastery in flap desigs 1st then u will learn urself what complications could be there..
