PakMediNet Discussion Forum : Medical Research in Pakistan : Need for More Hopsitals (Primary and tertiary care)
Through this forum i want to bring to the attention of the followers of this site as well as any awake alive and mentally stable govt. officials in pakistan the need for more primary and tertiary care centers in Pakistan.
The signs of improvement in Economy and stability in the country are reflected in its health care facilities and education. In our country it is reflected by the new Mercceedes Benz bought for the politicins and for Missiles and guns for the Generals and Mullahs. How many new tertiary care hospitals are built in our country in the last 25 years. The only small number which are built hardly are capable of providing any health care facilities they are just empty rooms no equippment no inventeries. Govt. says that economy in Pakistan is touching a Sky high limit how does it affect the ppls health. Is there any Govt health care facility in karachi (except SIUT only because of adib rizvi's personal efforts)that somebody can name with pride in a city of 15 Million one 0f the three largest cities in the world. There are hardly any modern day imaging facilities available at these institutions. We have a huge number of growth in private sector who are vultures in this poor setup.
would any politician or a beaurocrat go to a Govt hospital for any treatmet. NO. because they know that there is nothing. If u see the newspapers and all media things they are full of poloticians barking against each other Mullahs vomiting Poison about each other and declaring everyother guy as infidel. Have you ever heard these Vultures arguing with each other on issues of Public Health and Education?
god Save and bless this country.
