The twin Centre for Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan will organize “National Bioforum 2008” in Lahore, Pakistan from March 24-29, 2008. This will be the second partnering conference held in Pakistan and will bring together industry and academia from Pakistan, India, and Middle-Eastern countries. If you are looking for industrial, financial or scientific partners in technology transfer in life-sciences, this forum will provide you insight on the latest research in the universities and R&D institutions in the area, allowing you to share critical drivers of this rapidly growing bio-industry. People who should attend include professionals, company officials, regulatory affairs and project managers. The Bioforum will also include several concurrent workshops on Genetic and Infectious Diseases; Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine; Biosafety Issues; and plenary lectures on “Globalization of R&D efforts through partnering between institutions in the North and the South; Design of GMP Bio-containment facilities for pharmaceutical Production; and Outsourcing as a means to “Activate Globalization”.
