Some common results in Matrix rings and matrix near rings.
J Basic Applied Sci Jan ;3(1):25-6.

In matrix ring theory, it is well known that for n >1 the matrix ring Mn(R) has proper divisors of zero, even though R has none. And if R is a ring with identity then a sum of distinct matrix units of the form Ekk, 1 = k = n, is an idempotent in the matrix ring Mn(R). In this paper we show that these results are also true for matrix near rings.
