We report here a case of primary non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma of the urinary bladder. A 63 years old lady was admitted to our clinic with complaint of intermittent gross painless hematuria. The histologic examination of the transurethral resected tissue showed lymphocytic pattern. The tumor had invaded the muscles of the urinary bladder. Her partial cystectomy was done. The resected lymph nodes showed no signs of neoplasm. Postoperatively the whole bladder irradiation was done. She was disease-free for the last one year.

Case report: A 63 years old lady reported to our clinic with complaint of intermittent painless hematuria. There was also a history of chronic cystitis for which she had received treatment in different medical centres. Cystoscopic examination, x-ray IVU and ultrasonography revealed a wide-based submucosal mass of about 8 cms in the left lateral wall of the urinary bladder. Findings of the transurethral biopsy revealed a non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma of the B cell type. The tumor had invaded the muscles of the urinary bladder, therefore, partial cystectomy, with pelvic lymph node resection, was carried out. The resected lymph nodes showed no signs of neoplasm. She was also given the whole urinary bladder irradiation. after her operation she was doing well without any clinical evidence of recurrence since the last one year.
