Pak J Ophthalmol Jan ;11(2):35-8.

Since January 1988, l have examined 20 patients of central serous chorioretinopathy (16 males and 4 females). Fundus fluorescein angiography was performed on all patients for confirmation and to rule out other diseases like subretinal neovascularization. 75% of cases showed an inkblot pattern and 25% a smoke-stack patttern of dye leakage. Nine patients (45%) were taking oral steroids before examination by me and showed no beneficial effect Laser photocoagulaton was performed only in two cases (10%) with recurrence and proved beneficial.
