Geographic (Ameboid) Herpes Simplex Keratitis.
Pak J Ophthalmol Jan ;11(3):88-9.

A 45-year-old man ignored ocular irritation and watering of his left eye for over two weeks. He sought medical advice when the sight in that eye was lost. A large bilobed geographic (ameboid) corneal ulcer had spread across the central cornea, and It stained vididly with 1 % rose bengal solution. Decreased sensitivity of the cornea, a past episode of similar nature, and the clinical characteristics pointed to a herpes simplex keratitis. With intensive topical antiviral therapy the ulcer healed with slight scarring and recovery of 20/30 (6/9) corrected visual acuity.
