Application of Pardo - Mindan Criteria on Grading Chronic Renal Transplant Rejection Cases..
J Rawal Med Coll Jan ;1(2):54-6.

Renal transplants are complicated by chronic rejection after months to years, and are characterized by progressive organ dysfunction. We studied 12 cases of chronic renal transplant rejection (8 Nephrectomy specimens and 4 renal biopsies), and graded the severity of lesions as grades I, II and III. Grade I changes were observed in 2 cases (16.6%); grade II and III changes were seen in 5 cases (41.6%) each We have found that the application of Pardo - Mindan Criteria is very useful in the grading of Chronic Renal Transplant Rejection.
