Triple Procedure (Trabeculectomy Combined with Phacoemulsification and Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens Implantation).
Pak J Ophthalmol Jan ;16(4):166-9.

A triple procedure consisting of trabeculectomy combined with phacoemulsification and posterior chamber intraocular lens implantation was performed on fifteen eyes of thirteen patients. The follow-up time was six to nine months postoperatively. After surgery the 10P was overall 16 to 20mmHg. Thirteen patients developed good functioning filtering bleb, while two patients had nonfunctioning blocked bleb, with postoperative rise of 10P up to 36mmHg, in whom the trabeculectomy was repeated 12 weeks after surgery. The postoperative visual results were good. Most of the patients had earlier visual rehabilitation, less postoperative astigmatism and improved long-term intraocular pressure control.
