A nomad Afghani woman presented with epistaxis and fever in ENT department of DHQ Hospital Chaman, her cloths were smeared with blood. The ENT specialist packed her nose to stop the bleeding without wearing the gloves and taking any other protective measures. She did not return for de-packing. After 8 days, Doctor developed high-grade fever (102° F) with shivering and severe body aches and pains. Despite taking medication his temperature and body aches and pains did not improve. Nephew of doctor accompanied him during his ailment. He also developed high grade fever with shivering. They both were admitted as suspected cases of CCHF and laboratory results declared as confirmed CCHF cases. Doctor survived but Nephew did not survive.
