Tattooing of die face-hands and other parts of the body, moulding/framing of die head, feet, legs and scarification of die umbilicus, face for medical, cosmetic and social reasons are widely practiced all over Balochistan and Afghanistan among Brahvi, Balochi, Pashtoon and Hazara tribes specially among die less educated classes. A brief account is given in this article.
