In our study the data was taken from patients of hepatitis and healthy blood donors from Mayo hospital. Our result showed 25% (531 / 2074) prevalence of hepatitis B virus in patients, while overall prevalence was 5% (1456 / 29131). The carrier rate (in the healthy donors) in our study was 3.8% (925 / 27057). The high prevalence compels us to launch major public awareness program and immediate attention towards its spread.
