Prevalence of Bone Tumors in Northern Parts of Pakistan.

A review of 123 cases of hone tumors from local tumor registry of Ayub Medical College and Hospital Complex is presented. It includes 64 (52%) males and 59 (48%) females with age range between 2-70 years. There were 68 (55%) malignant and 55 (48%) benign tumors. Osteogenic sarcoma was the commonest primary tumor of the series (19.50% cases) followed by giant cell tumor (17.88% cases) and osteochondroma (13.87% cases).
