Operative findings noted were analysed with full case description. Results: Out of fifty patients included in this study 30 were male patients and 20 female patients. Obstructive lesions were noted in 72% of the cases. Common obstructive lesions were; faecoliths 19 (52.78%) cases, lymphoid hyperplasia-8 (22.22%) cases, foreign bodies 3(8.33%)cases, worms 2(5.6%) cases, tuberculous strictures 1 (2.78%) case, and unknown strictures in 3 (8.33%) cases.
