Effect of Age on Visual Evoked Potentials.
Pak J Health Jan ;36(1-2):11-3.

The latencies and amplitude of visual evoked potentials (VEPs) were recorded in 30 healthy subjects to reveal the effect of age on VEPs parameters. Subjects were divided in two groups; C1 (age 18-40 years) and C2 (age 4160 years), each having 15 subjects. Group C2 subjects showed significantly (P < 0.05) prolonged latencies of VEPs than in group C1 while P 100 amplitude difference was non-significant (P > 0.05) between the two groups. There was a very highly significant (P < 0.001) positive correlation between age and P 100 latency in group C2.
