Wandering Spleen presenting as recurrent abdominal pain in a young female.
Pak Paed J Jan ;32(2):132-4.

A wandering spleen is a rare form of developmental anomaly arising from either a congenital or acquired laxity of the suspensory ligaments of the spleen. It is more common in adult females. Children make up one third of all cases, with an equal male to female ratio. Clinical presentation includes an incidental finding of a painless abdominal mass, intermittent abdominal or pelvic pain or more commonly as an acute abdominal event. Here we describe wandering spleen in a young female who presented with recurrent abdominal pain.
