The patient is a 50 years old woman, known case of major depression, brought to emergency Department (ED) of Tabriz Imam Reza Hospital with chief complaint of blindness of half an hour duration. Hypertensive Encephalopathy (HE) represents a medical emergency, characterized by rapid onset of headache, nausea, vomiting, altered consciousness, convulsions, visual disturbance and a variety of other neurological deficits.
